I-49 & I-69 Time for Completion

          I have stated over and over that if the great citizens of Arkansas elect me to the U.S. Congress I will get I-49 built as well as I-69 started.  How will I do this?  By working to get it done instead of setting back and just using the issues for voter bait in the elections.  My opponent, Ross, is on his 5th term in Congress what has he got done on I-49?  Let me think, oh I got it, around 200 miles not started on.  Wow, I could do more than that in my sleep.  It is time to get someone elected with common sense, who knows how to get their hands dirty, and has enough backbone to get projects done that will help Arkansans.  Read what he said about the completion of these highways. (Click Here)  At that rate we will all be dead before they are completed.
          How will I pay for the highway completion?  I will pay for it by voting against waste and calling people out on it and by working with representatives from other districts and states who need this built.  This is something few people have enough backbone to do.  I will not allow politicians, or special interest groups to scratch my belly.  I will get what is needed done and come back home.  I will not serve California.  Ross eagerly voted for Harry Reid’s train to no where.  Why could he not eagerly get funding for I-49?   I-49, a highway that will eventually connect New Orleans to Manitoba, Canada and will create many jobs in Arkansas, has not been completed because there would need to be a new big campaign issue.   Marc Rosson

Gun Owners Sold Out

          Ross, my opponent, claims and votes for gun rights, so why is he supporting the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee?  This is a group, for the larger part, that believes in some form of gun control.  If your are honestly for the Second Amendment you do not send hundreds of thousands of dollars in support to a group that will, with eagerness, support a candidate that believes in gun control. 
           According to the Democrat platform they support gun control.  Do not take my word for it go to www.fec.gov and www.house.gov to see for your self.  If Arkansans will look and see where their congressman and senators really stand, there will be new representation elected.  Marc Rosson

Abortion & the Poor

          Millions of babies have been butchered by the claim they are not wanted.  They may not be wanted by the pregnant mother, but they are wanted.  There are many “five second Christians,” people who claim to be Christians, that believe the murdering of babies is not a sin, but is instead a woman’s right.  
           Baby butcheries like Planned Parenthood receive federal dollars, thanks in part to Congressman Ross, to take lives.  Minorities and the poor, according to reports and placement of their facilities, seem to be targeted.  The poor and minorities could be helped with the money wasted on butcher groups by such means as access to better school opportunities and after school activities that could help them in the future.      
          It sickens me that tax dollars are spent to hurt the poor rather than to help, and the current congressman has allowed this with his vote.  I suppose that I see it differently because I can relate to the poor and believe what the bible states.  Let’s send Mike on a one way ticket home in 2010.

Cap & Steal

          Well, I have to say the current Congressman didn’t vote for Cap and Steal, the excessive taxation on utilities plus.  That is good right!  Not so fast.  He did not have to vote for it.  Why?  Several, maybe even around 20, congress men and women that he directly or indirectly supported for office voted for it.   
           Did you say, “That did not mean he was for it”.  It means he was eligible for a pass from his good friend Nancy Pelosi.  To get 20 or more votes that were there in part from 1 vote, that is good odds.  So yes he was just as guilty not only for the above listed, but also because he was not bucking the group, his Democrat Party.  He, according to reports, votes with his fellow Democrats more than 95% of the time.   That is not Conservative.

                                            Insurance Reform

          For years the politicians have promised healthcare reform.  The politicians, like Mike Ross, say it has to be fixed or else.  But how are they going to fix it?  Is it by limiting payments to doctors and drug companies, maybe a nationalized insurance plan, neither of them will fix the problem!
          How many of you have been injured in an auto accident where you had to sue the insurance company.  If you have, you know that the insurance companies are sheltered by laws to help them hurt the victim.  They would rather pay lawyers than pay a legitimate claim.  Insurance is a legal way to steal.
          There are millions alive in this nation that would have been dead if it were not for advances in doctors and medicine.  Yet daily, on the TV, there is a continuous line of advertisements, from lawyers, telling you to sue doctors and pharmaceutical companies and you will get money.  Why would you sue a doctor who saved your life!  Most doctors, even if they knew that you might sue after a surgery, would still try to save a life.  Sure most doctors have insurance, but that is not the point.   
           The only people who win in these cases are the blood sucking lawyers and insurance companies.  The lawyers will get their fee plus expenses in most cases, and the insurance companies will raise premiums.  The victim in the auto accident may sometimes end up with enough to cover medical bills, but not enough for long term effects.
           In order to fix healthcare, we must look to the source and give the doctors a means to go without malpractice insurance.  This would bring down their expenses and your cost at the doctor.  Doctors and pharmaceutical companies should be able to refuse treatment to individuals who will not give up their rights in order to sue over the outcome of the treatment. 
          The loser of a legal judgment should be required to pay their own fees, plus the winner's fees, court cost and everything between.  This would give a little help to the citizens who have been punished by their politicians in these cases, politicians who sold their citizens out for campaign contributions plus!
          Drug companies and doctors, to a point, have their past performances out in the public’s hand.  Any known problem of a doctor or drug must be made available to the public with ease and simplicity.  This will ensure a patients knowledge and risk.  I believe that these are the best things to do.  These insurance companies and lawyers are greedy; they are not your friend.  Without good doctors willing to try new ways to save lives, the future of healthcare in this country is not good for you as you age. 
           Think about it!  What would you rather do, live longer or buy some lawyer and insurance company more cars, homes and businesses!

                                      Falling Nation

          Without moral values this nation will fall! There are a people in this nation who believe that murderers and other mean criminals, including people who would and have attacked this nation should be gently questioned and punish lightly. These people are causing major problems for our families. By allowing criminals to repeat crimes many, many innocent people are being robbed, raped, and murdered. All crimes are hate crimes.
          The so called "better off families" are most often shielded from most crimes. The lower class gets robbed from white collar and blue collar robbers. When $100 is stolen from the rich that is pocket change. When you steal $10 from the poor that is today's food.  While the murderers and rapists are allowed to roam the streets the elderly live in fear.  Drunks are given chance after chance to kill people.  Our laws are useless.
          Our politicians are supposed to keep us safe, but they are out of our reality. They do not live in less policed areas.  They do not have to manage their money for us, the taxpayer, will give them more.  The war on drugs is a joke.  Drug users and dealers must be off the streets.   Drug dealers and users, rapist, scammers, thieves, drunks, and murderers must be given hard labor sentences and that means labor, not washing dishes.
          If it is hard for you comprehend, watch or read your local news.  The useless laws we use for criminals is now the same for terrorist.  If you do not feel safer now than you did in 2000, you should vote for me.  If you feel safer watch your local new more.

Government as CEO

           How can we make our communities safer places to live and play?  For one, no more gun control.  Guns and knives are not murderers; it is the person behind them.  It makes me sick to hear the news, when it seems worse daily.  Our politicians live sheltered lives, unlike the majority of us, and do not understand what victims are.  If you’re listening, they’re victims!  Victims are the ones that get the bad end of violence.
          Our politicians blame gun owners for crime but, the truth is, our politicians have allowed criminals free passes for years.   There are burglaries, rape (both old and young), drug trafficking, and murders which are daily deeds done by repeat offenders.  These people should not be on the streets to start with.  Crime cannot be reduced by kissing the criminals hand and telling them not to do it again. 
          Prison overcrowding is an over rated excuse.  Convicts lose their rights once convicted and should be made examples of.   They should be worked like dogs for their whole sentence. They should have no television, exercise rooms, etc.  There are people that seem to actually think punishing criminals is harsh, and that you would not be able to control them in prison.  Those people, including our politicians, think too much without a thought for the victim.  We can control livestock, and we can control convicts.
          There is no reason for the crime rates to be high, it is hard working citizens that are being affected.  There are so many politicians, including the ones here in Arkansas, that want gun control measures passed, but do not wish to punish the people doing the crimes.  The Second Amendment gives you, as a citizen of the United States of America, the right to protect yourself and your nation.  It is time to punish criminals not gun owners.

Covering tracks

          How about those bonuses?  I would have liked some of that money.  Are the unbelievable bonuses to employees of failed companies what our politicians really want to stop?  Two letters, one word, NO! 
          Let’s look back in the past a bit.   In 2008, we were told that the end of the financial markets was here if the Big Bank Bailout did not happen.  One passed in 2008, another in 2009 and for the public officials that claim they inherited the mess, they were senators at the time, and no names mentioned.   The majority of citizens and I were against these welfare programs for the rich.  
           I have spoken to some bank officials both local and regional, and they are doing as well now as before.  Why?  They were not doing ignorant, unrestrained programs and were not paying off politicians to the extent that Freddy Mac, AIG, and others were.  After receiving tax payer’s dollars, reportedly, at least one bailed out company sent billions to foreign banks, and more than one paid out excessive bonuses.  While writing out the bailout bills they left room for companies to pay bonuses, take trips, etc. with taxpayer dollars.  
           So why did they pass?   Have you ever taken a look at your congressman and senator’s campaign contributions at www.house.gov???  You may find the answers there.  Be sure while looking to take notes on paper like dates and so on.  To stay in office many elected officials resort to collecting campaign contributions for votes.  If you think that I am wrong you need to look, do the math, vote dates, and check for yourself.  It’s sad what people, that we elect, do to stay in power.  It has been that way for decades and has continually got worse.
          Now we come to the AIG bonuses which were just a fraction of money for bonuses that were given out by other bailed out companies.  AIG could have refused to hand out the bonuses.  Insurance companies refuse to pay claims everyday and get away with it because of contributions.
          Now Congress is all up in arms claiming they want that money back.  They passed a bill in the House to tax 90% of the bonuses.  It appears to me as they are not so interested in recouping the tax dollars, but testing the waters for later.  If the House's bill was to become law and upheld in court, our politicians would have great control over us.  For example, if a group of people did not give enough contributions or vote right, they could tax it out of them.
