How many congressmen actually know what it is to be dirt poor?  How many congressmen will help the poor and minorities to become better off fiancially?   If I am elected, the citizens of the 4th Congressional District of Arkansas will have a chance at a better life with better jobs.  I mean good jobs, jobs where your children can work here and make a good life rather than elsewhere far across the country..

Marc’s Objectives

Above all else I am a Christian and American
* Ending Our Educational Problems
* Ending Prison Overcrowding
* Ending Wasteful Government Spending
* Ending Poverty
* Bring In Industrys And Jobs
* Preserving The Second Amendment By 100%
            Go ahead and laugh, it can be done and I will work to do all of it if I am elected.  I know I can bring industry and jobs to the 4th congressional district, that is the easiest one.  We need businesses in which, most of their products will be exported to either another state or country.  We must get I-49 built.  The present and past lawmakers have done as little as possible to complete I-49 using it as election bait.  I will get it built one way or another; it will be a key to ending poverty wages in Arkansas.
            We cannot continue pumping wasted money in public schools.  When kids graduate what do they want to do?  Most do not know, some do but change their minds later.  If they go to college and get a good degree more often than not they will have to work in another state or work for beans at the chicken plant here.  We need an industry work program with business participation that can help students make better choices after graduation.  This program should count as class credits and be mandatory.  We also need a voucher program to allow students to chose from schools in the area, including private ones, other than their local one.
            I believe we should give first and possibly second offence convicts the option of prison or military duty.  If they select prison they should have to work hard every day.  All televisions, exercise equipment and other toys need to be removed as well.  All meals should be with water only and be bare consisting of food grown by inmates.  Prisons are costing us a fortune and if they were not like fancy resorts the visitors would slow down.    This would free up our prisons for good.  The military would be able to teach some respect to convicts.  Prisons only increase the knowledge of not getting caught next time.  I would rather have productive citizens than the alternative.
            Now how will I end poverty and save the Second Amendment?  I will get this done by doing all the above and from your participation.  I can and will make a difference in the 4th District of Arkansas if you give me a chance.
           If I am elected the citizens of Arkansas will be the ones I answer to, not a political party leader.  I will not vote for a budget that is not balanced.  We must balance our own budgets at home and so should Washington.  I will work with local groups in each county I represent to see that my goals are met.  These people will not be the kings of the area but will be people like you and me with common sense, honesty, and dedication to help our people to help themselves.
            I will not tell you one thing and do another.  I will not give idiotic, political correctness apologies.  If it is not sincere I will not do it.  I am not afraid to step on toes to get what is needed done even if it would hurt election chances.  If you wish you were in Washington now elect me and you will be.   This is not a D&R country, this is the United States of America the country our grandfathers, great grandfathers, and great, great, great grandfathers fought and died for.   Marc Rosson

                                             Marc's Ideas
* Above all else I am a Christian and an American.
* I am completely 100% Pro-Life, as is my wife.
* Convicts should have no rights, and prisons should be a place to fear.
* I believe that I- 49 and I-69 must be finished sooner than later.  These interstates will be the lifeline to the citizens.  The interstates will produce and keep jobs here as goods can be manufactured and shipped more economically.
* I believe that there should be more raids and heavier fines on employers who hire illegal aliens.  I do not blame them for coming across the border, but there are many companies that have become excessively wealthy by paying low wages to illegals.  This keeps the wages in those regions low thus keeping the poor, poor.
* This nation must start manufacturing more here for our national security.  Other nations are growing their national security on our dollars and technology.  Many of these nations do not care for us.
* The United States should not be handing out money to other countries when we are borrowing it.
* I believe that the majority rules and even if I disagree with the majority if elected I will reflect the majority's will.  I believe that is what my ancestors fought and were injured or died for.
* I believe in the Second Amendment.  As an avid sportsman and sport shooter, there is no giving an inch to the loons that want gun control measures.  People kill people, not guns; it is time to treat criminals as to what they are.  We must be able to protect ourselves and our country.
* I believe in conservation of the outdoors such as recycling plastics, paper, metal, etc.  I have been places where plastics litter the trees, streams, and highways; that’s disgusting to me.  I have used energy efficient products to save electricity since the 1990s before people got on the global warming wagon.  Scientifically and historically speaking I believe global warming is a scam.  We used to learn about the ice age, but it did not make as much money as global warming.
* The USDA has some great programs to help keep our streams, rivers, and lakes clean, but they will need support.  These programs help farmers and outdoorsmen do what is needed rather than be dictated to by pencil pushing radical morons in Washington.
* I would vote for an amendment to end abortion and an amendment to define marriage as being between one man and one woman.
* I know that the, so called, stimulus packages have and will only continue to hurt the poor, middle class, and those on social security.  I do not believe that my generation and our descendents will be able to depend on social security.  It is possible that it may be gone sooner.
* Schools should be about learning not sports.  Schools failing to teach our kids so they can have a better life than us should be cleaned up by the people without federal intervention.   I support a voucher system that would give each child the same chance at either a public or private school.  Throwing more money to schools has been a disaster.  The rich have a choice so should the poor.
* I believe that vehicles must become more efficient on fuel, and more electric cars should be made for two reasons: lighter cars equal longer lasting roads and lower fuel consumption helps our security as a nation.
* I believe that all products sold here, including food, should have country of manufacture and origin of products used in manufacturing.
* I buy as many American made products as I can find.
* There should be more oversight for insurance companies.
* I believe that doctors who have been found to have made errors in their practice should have those displayed for their patients and future patients.
* Pharmaceutical companies and doctors who are performing services other than basic needs should be able refuse treatment and drugs if potential patient will not agree to not sue for damages in the future from their services if some happen.  Reason; there is an excessive amount of people alive today due to new surgeries and drugs but people forget that when their life is extended and or someone dies to an accidental error.
* All government vehicles should be energy efficient.
* The United States should not be handing out money to other countries when we are borrowing it.
* I believe that the majority rules and even if I disagree with the majority if elected I will reflect the majority's will.  I believe that is what my ancestors fought and were injured or died for.
* By propping up the large banks, politicians have secured money for their next campaigns as well as helping to push more small banks out of business in the future.

                                          How I Would Vote!
* For ban on federal funds to Plan Parenthood and any other baby butchering facilities.
* Against any bill that would place limits on the Second Amendment.
* Against a federal budget that was not balanced.
* Against any military action where lawmakers tie the soldiers hands.
* Against any private company bailouts.
* Against nationalizing health care.
* For mandatory recycling at all waste facilities.
* For incentives for auto makers and only for light weight all electric vehicles sold cheap.
* For upgrading our defense system.
* For funding for I-49.
* For a ban on any excessive taxing.
* For eliminating the IRS.
* For requiring the USPS to be financially and ideologically stable.
No bill would be voted for unless I had time to read it alone or with a trusted panel!  No bill would be voted for that was conceived out of fear!  No bill would be voted for that the citizens of the 4th district were against!  No vote would be placed to receive campaign contributions!  The working people would finally be represented!
